The Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) program was created by the U.S. government to facilitate international trade and increase the global competitiveness of U.S.-based companies. Encompassing more than 4,000 acres, FTZ 136 is among the largest foreign trade zones in the country. Years of dedicated planning and development by business and community leaders have created one of the world’s most comprehensive import/export resources here in Brevard County, Florida. FTZ 136 general-purpose sites include: Port Canaveral, Melbourne International Airport, Space Coast Regional Airport, Spaceport Commerce Park and Tate Industrial Park.
